Such commitment to excellence is reflected in the recent renovation of the backyard at Park Athena Ave. This photo series dives into the wealth of photos of a full transformation from run down backyard to an outdoor heaven. We started with the need from the client for the space to be multi-functional for entertaining and relaxation. Sustainably harvested ipe was used for the expansive deck, creating a warm space for congregating. We added a custom-built pergola lined with climbing vines providing shade and adding beauty The water feature is among the star investments of this renovation, a fountain that draws the eyes and ears as a modern centerpiece Sounds of the Sea creating a tranquil atmosphere. And, the careful selection of drought-tolerant plants such as native California flora that provide color and texture year-round, helps create a sustainable landscape. The had hurdles along the way like other uprite and other drain issues that already in existence. With our ACE architecture and engineering team, we professionally leveled the ground and put in a proper drainage system so that the landscaping lasts and the space can breathe in comfort. The outcome is a stunning backyard that strikes the ideal balance of function with form, providing our clients with their very own piece of paradise that complements their lifestyle beautifully.
