About This Project

Wonderwood by TG&R Landscape Group TG&R Landscape Group is excited to showcase our 'Wonderwood' , a transformative community located in the heart of Fort Mill. There are many communities served by our talented team including: Catawba, Edgemoor, India Hook, Lando, Lesslie, Newport, Rock Hill, Tega Cay, and Van Wyck; therefore we took on this undertaking to transform the outdoor space into a peaceful sanctuary that is inspires our connection to the natural environment. The design mixes a variety of native plants, which provide wildlife habitat and thrive in the climate. A stone path meanders through vegetation to a serene seating area with custom benches made of wood. All stone and timber were sourced locally, to ensure our footprint was minimized and long-lasting. One of our challenges was the slope of the site, which required investigating methods of drainage to remove excess water and prevent erosion while protecting the landscape. Our team worked with the stone to create rigid walls with the dry-stacking method that functioned as a barrier for excess water while adding another layer of visual interest and texture to the garden. The final result of Wonderwood is a stunning landscape that exceeds our client's expectations. The mix of textures, colors, and aromas creates an atmosphere that encourages a sense of relaxation and contemplation. Wonderwood is one of many locations where families come together to share meaningful moments - it promotes both leisure time and facilitates connections.
