Jemsek - Bartram Ranch Serenoa Landscape Design is pleased to present the Jemsek at Bartram Ranch, a beautiful manifestation of southern charm and modern functionality, centrally located in Ponte Vedra. The features a diverse palette of native plantings, designed hardscapes, and tranquil water features to connect the home to the tranquil outdoor space. Drought-resistant plants were purposefully selected, such as ornamental grasses, azaleas, and palmettos, to improve the character and beauty of the area while creating a sustainable space. The use of natural stones in the pathways and patios not only provided visual interest but also created usable, durable outdoor spaces for relaxation and entertaining. One of the biggest challenges we faced in the design process was the topography of the site. Our team successfully implemented a grading plan that allowed us to create two-tiered garden beds that ensured proper drainage while improving the visibility of the plants. Although this change improved functionality, it also enhanced the depth and dimension of the overall landscaping. One of the signature features of the Jemsek is the custom-designed fire pit area, complete with quality pavers and adequate seating space. This fire pit serves as the ideal place to gather with family and friends and enjoy outdoor living throughout the year. Additional features of soft landscape lighting helped highlight the various colors of the plants while providing safety features for outdoor night-time gatherings. The outcome is a stunning landscape that embodies our client's vision of a tranquil retreat while blending in with the natural features of the surrounding area. Our attention to of quality workmanship has not only satisfied our clients' expectations but also set a new standard in landscaping in the area.
