Kuksa by Yavapai Landscaping Situated in the heart of Prescott Valley is the Kuksa , delivering on Yavapai Landscaping's promise to help our customers transform their outdoor spaces into beautiful outdoor retreats. In this major landscaping effort, we completely redesigned the client’s backyard, enhancing its function and beauty while simultaneously connecting the area with the natural beauty of Arizona. The design includes a large multi-level patio built of durable, locally sourced flagstone that offers a strong aesthetic contrast with the lush greenery while ensuring longevity with Arizona weather. Custom built-in seating areas were seamlessly created to connect indoor and outdoor areas, resulting in great entertainment space or a quiet few moments under the stars. A significant challenge was addressing the sloped nature of the property, which required us to take creative approach to concepts of drainage so that water would not pool in the usable area. Our skilled team designed and installed a creative drainage solution that was aesthetically complemented by natural stone retaining walls, providing both stability and a natural look. In addition to hardscaping, a variety of natives was included in the design for sustainability and to attract local wildlife to the area. Our skilled team selected colorful blooms, fragrant shrubs, and tough ground cover that will respond well to the Arizona climate to create a colorful tapestry that will change with the seasons. The end result is a beautiful outdoor space that exceeds the client's expectations.
