Our latest Organic Landscape Design is a testament to our sustainable landscaping practices while fulfilling the needs of homeowners and adding value to residential properties in the regions we serve, including Naperville, Wheaton and Geneva. We started this with the idea to convert a standard fairway to a fully functional organic landscape that interacts with nature. Working with our talented team, we identified and carefully selected native plants, which included a diversity of perennials, shrubs, and trees suited to the area, contributing towards biodiversity and providing habitat for a variety of beneficial wildlife. Using mulch and organic soil amendments from sustainable sources, we created a vibrant, nutrient-dense bed for our plants. The site presented many challenges, with topography that changed often, plus we needed unique solutions to make sure that water did not pool or erode the landscape. We created a natural grading system with rain gardens incorporated throughout the site to capture and handle stormwater runoff but also beautify the site. This created a beautifully landscaped; a landscape that danced gracefully with the lay of the land. We have emphasised the organic nature of the space with rustic, locally sourced stone pathways, guiding through the garden and urging to a further exploration. " We created these walkways around colorful flower patches and quiet sitting spots made of reclaimed lumber and natural elements a nod to our sustainable approach. The feedback from our client who loved this result was extremely positive, too, who called her yard the perfect combination of both beautiful and functional outdoor oasis. The Organic Landscape Design achieved what the client dreamed to become a phenomenon that showcases the core values of Bruss Landscaping, Inc. of quality craftsmanship and environmental stewardship.
