About This Project

Refresh of Backyard Paradise TERRAFIRMA Landscape is proud to announce the completion of the 'Backyard Paradise Refresh' for our client in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This represents our ability to deliver quality, creativity, and satisfied customers. The scope included the installation of a multi-level stone patio made from locally sourced bluestone, providing an appealing and sustainable surface. A custom fire pit washed in natural boulders was seamlessly incorporated into the design, creating an attractive gathering space for family and friends. Challenges faced were predominantly uneven ground and drainage issues, these required innovative measures to properly deal with the various challenges of managing water, while enhancing the look of the landscape. Additionally, our knowledgeable and skilled earth work teams were on-site to grade the areas and adapt a French drain, drainage plan allowing for proper water management through grading and drain placement when working with the sloped ground. The native landscape included native plants and perennials with seasonal blooms in warmer months to ensure year-round aesthetics. The wholly thoughtful landscape chose ornamental grasses and flowering shrubs that not only enhanced the aesthetics locally prepare wildlife, highlight diversity throughout the landscape. The finished product is a stunning oasis for relaxed gatherings of entertaining friends; the result is a delight for our clients and a transformation to a true Backyard Paradise!
