Evergreen Oasis | Holloway Company Inc. Our commitment to using quality materials and innovative landscaping solutions is on full display on this , correctly called the "Evergreen Oasis", which Holloway Company Inc. recently completed in the heart of Virginia. Working from Aldie to Reston, we did our best to create an environment that would naturally blend with the beauty of the surrounding land while also meeting the client's wishes. To start we do a deep analysis of the site, looking for factors that could enhance the functionality and beauty of the landscape. They planted many evergreen trees such as the towering Eastern Red Cedars and regal Blue Spruces on this giving year-round green and privacy. Alongside this were also exquisitely laid-out perennial flower beds of colour and texture that were planned to come into bloom in waves over the seasons. Uneven terrain presented a challenge for our designers, who responded by using terracing and site-sourced natural stone as steps. It served as both a visual cue as well as increased accessibility for the entire area. A natural boulder fire pit provides a communal place for friends and family to gather, adding appeal to outdoor entertaining. To keep with sustainability on the , we installed a drip irrigation system that provides efficient and effective water use and plant growth. The cherry on top was a koi pond, with soft, bubbling water features that provided peace and attracted the neighborhood wildlife. This careful planning & execution paid off with an Evergreen Oasis that thrilled our client and provides each family member the opportunity to enjoy their personal sanctuary of peace and harmony while still connected to the surrounding landscape.
