About This Project

Stylish Haven (Holloway Company Inc.) Sitting in a delightful part of Aldie is the Stylish Haven by Holloway Company Inc. This large outdoor space was designed to encapsulate the beauty of Ashburn, Leesburg, and Great Falls. This had a plethora of well chosen including locally sourced bluestone for a gorgeous yet solid [stone patio]. At the edges of the patio, specific native perennials and gravel were selected and incorporated in an organized fashion to provide color and texture through all seasons while improving local biodiversity and habitat. So we designed a custom built fire pit, ready for family gatherings on a warm evening, sitting under the stars surrounded by beautiful brick re-use. The steep slope of the site was one of the key issues we encountered at the start of the . To do this, our experts created a tiered garden which isn't only visually attractive but has also optimized drainage and accessibility. Low natural stone retaining walls were set into the landscape to form separate plates, while also serving as a containment mechanism for the landscape's greenery. The end product is a stunning patio that strikes the perfect balance between function and form. The client was thrilled with the result, commenting how well the hardscape blended with the softscape elements and that it's a place to relax and enjoy. An escape surrounded by nature it has become a beautiful representation of the Holloway Company Inc.'s craftsmanship and skill set right in the middle of Northern Virginia showcasing all the hard work, creativity, and sustainable design put in to create an area to experience and call home.
