Front Yard Low Water Landscape Jennifer Bromme Landscape Design has recently wrapped up the “Front Yard Low Water Landscape” , which was a beautiful example of sustainability and aesthetics. We serve the lively communities from Brisbane to San Jose and enjoyed working to develop a low-maintenance and drought-tolerant garden to complement the natural setting with gorgeous front yard curb appeal. The first step was evaluating the site based on soil type, sun exposure, and current vegetation. We developed a plant palette of native and drought-tolerant plants, including succulents, decorative ornamental grasses and flowering perennials that flourish in our climate and enhance biodiversity. We used permeable pavers and gravel paths to improve drainage and reduce water runoff on the site in keeping with sustainable practices. One of the immediate challenges was to design an aesthetic landscape that remained practical and visually appealing year around, while keeping water use low. Our staff incorporated a rain harvesting system with decorative barrels that fits seamlessly into the landscape design for capturing rainwater for irrigation. The front yard came to fruition with a beautiful outdoor space that thrilled the client with its pleasing colors and natural stone and wood. The low-water landscape provides a beautiful way to conserve resources while providing an habitat for native wildlife, further demonstrating our commitment to environmental stewardship. At Jennifer Bromme Landscape Design, we strive for the highest quality, completed another beautiful transformation of a front courtyard and were delighted to hear from another satisfied client.
