Lakewood Hills Residence by LandPatterns, Inc. Located in the beautiful Lakewood Hills neighborhood, this residence by LandPatterns, Inc. represents our commitment to quality and innovation. We proudly service clients in Dallas, Highland Park, Oak Lawn, Richardson, and University Park. This property posed some special challenges with the topography of the site and the old, existing plant material to take into consideration. We were inspired by the natural beauty of the site to create a useful outdoor space that exudes both beauty and function. The included a stunning stone path made of locally sourced flagstone leading through carefully cultivated gardens with native plant material. Plants were selected for their beauty and low-maintenance requirements in a sustainable landscape for an enjoyment and aesthetic experience year-round. The outdoor living space included a custom-built pergola from durable cedar wood, providing a great place to relax or entertain guests. In addition, we added tailored outdoor lighting to showcase the beauty of the house as well as the gardens around it to provide a more social and enjoyable experience for nighttime events. Some challenges of the included uneven grade and water flow. Our skilled team was able to implement an efficient drainage system that serves as a preventative measure against water pooling on the property, which helps to preserve the lifespan of the plant material and hardscapes created. An efficient drainage system creates an equable harmony with the landscape and a collaboration of the natural water flow of the overall site. Ultimately, the Lakewood Hills Residence has been transformed into a wonderful private oasis that was enjoyed by our clients.
