Simple Modern Landscape by Green Guru Landscaping Green Guru Landscaping is very excited to share the completion of the 'Simple Modern Landscape' , a contemporary aesthetic landscape design in complete unity with the site's natural surroundings. We serve the cities of Enterprise, Henderson, Las Vegas, Paradise, Sloan, Spring Valley, Summerlin South, Whitney, and Winchester. Our clients were looking for an outdoor space that maximized aesthetics and provided outdoor living functionality in the space. We created a clean, minimalist design that used basic geometric shapes and natural materials. The garden features a selection of drought-resistant native plants, such as ornamental grasses and succulents, to create a sustainable, low-maintenance landscape environment. A beautiful hardscape accents the pathway, made from natural stone pavers, which leads guests through the unique landscape and provides a durable and visual feature to combat wear and tear from Nevada's sunshine. One specific challenge on the was the site-specific elevation changes, which raised the need for unique solutions to control drainage and stability of the soils. The site was expertly graded by our skilled team, creating tiered levels within the landscape. This improved the site's water flow while maintaining depth and dimension in the design. It also ties to the hardscape in the retaining walls, built using stone sourced locally, which serve to add to the modern aesthetic, while offering the structural support to the design. We added a modern feature of a water feature to heighten the calming element in the landscape, which is a linear fountain that creates a pleasant sound and habitation for local wildlife. Custom, ambient LED lighting accents various features of the and allows the landscape to glow with beautiful design subtlety at night. The final product is a modern landscape that is representative of our client's vision, one that connects modernism with a touch of nature. Our attention to detail and construction quality resulted in a calming outdoor space that went far beyond the client's expectancies for the design. Most importantly, they now have the perfect space to relax or entertain.
