Firepit Focal Point Four of Six Landscape The 'Firepit Focal Point' in Madison by Four of Six Landscape recreated the backyard of the home into a unique outdoor living area. The purpose of this was to provide a cozy yet inviting environment for family gatherings and evening relaxation. This transformation captures the rustic appeal of a natural stone firepit built from freshly quarried boulders to match the local landscape. Careful craftsmanship was made by our specialists to ensure that the firepit is recognized as not only a meeting spot, but also a yard feature to enjoy from an aesthetic standpoint. We laid a permanent, flagstone patio around the firepit that creates an enticing and stable seating and entertainment area. The lot itself was steeply sloped and challenged us to come up with creative solutions for the grading. The team of experienced landscapers painstakingly regraded the space to ensure a flat base for the patio and firepit while maintaining the drainage nature of the landscape. Finally, we incorporated native plantings around the firepit adding texture, color and minimal maintenance. Finally ambient lighting was installed to highlight the firepit area without dominating the natural environments. The end result is both functional and visual, offering the homeowners a beautiful place to relax and host.
