Outdoor Patio at Oleana Restaurant Natalie DeNormandie has successfully delivered the Outdoor Patio at Oleana Restaurant, an exceptional landscaping that transformed the dining experience into a lush oasis of style and sophistication. Located in the heart of Cambridge, this patio is a magical extension of the restaurant that celebrates the restaurant's Mediterranean-inspired cuisine in a unique outdoor environment. The integrates several native plants to help adapt to the local climate and provide interest in all four seasons. We used fragrant herbs, beautiful perennials, and ornamental grasses to create an engaging sensory experience that enhances the food in a meaningful way. Sustainability was also an important feature where we chose to use permeable pavers for the patio surface, which allowed water to drain effectively but maintains a refined outdoor aesthetic. The limited footprint available for the was one of the notable challenges played during the . To mitigate the extra demand of space, we added vertical components such as trellises with climbing vines to provide height, enclosure, and definition to the dining experience. We also designed built-in custom wood planters to create a natural barrier and provide interest. The end result is a beautiful patio that provides comfortable seating and lush green vegetation for guests to escape. The design concept encourages guests to sit in nature while they eat. The Oleana Restaurant Outdoor Patio has become a destination. Guests are pleased by the patio's beauty and functional tools.
