Summerlin Arrowhead Residence At the Summerlin Arrowhead Residence, Attanasio Landscape Architecture revitalizes outdoor living in one of Las Vegas' most dynamic communities. The is a true testament to our quality, creativity, and functional commitment towards fulfilling the wishes of our sophisticated client. Featured throughout the design is a native xeriscaping that features lush greenery along with striking hardscaping to form a calm desert oasis. We included drought-tolerant plants, such as agave, desert marigold and red yucca, for beautiful colors year-round without the need for water. Elements such as natural stone pathways or custom paver patios add beauty and resilience against the elements with materials that have been purposely selected. The property is on a four-in-12 slope and one of our greater challenges was to make it a multi-level garden. Local stone was used to build retaining walls which formed terraced planting areas to improve drainage and provide interest. From issues with soil stability and irrigation requirements, our team was able to solve site-specific problems creatively to achieve a thriving landscape. The end product is a beautiful outdoor living space complete with a tranquil water feature to relax by, a warm fire pit area to gather by, and an insulated and custom-built “cabana-style” pergola to provide shade and comfort. Every detail was important to us and we are very proud of this landscape that was functional but also stunning at the same time. The Summerlin Arrowhead Residence demonstrates the commitment to quality and value that Attanasio Landscape Architecture delivers to the client, who is thrilled to have their outdoor retreat to chorus with their lifestyle. This is a landscape for life for entertaining friends or simply enjoying evenings alone, or live concerts with superior sound system enjoying the changing of the seasons.
