Located in the heart of Summerlin, this is a perfect example of the use of quality and design for the program required by our clients. The landscape is a mixture of abundant green, colorful flower beds, and bed and leaf garden features and art. Drought-resistant native plants were used to add natural beauty to the property while contributing to its overall sustainability. Large artisanal stone paths weave around the garden, leading us to glimpses of a peaceful and colorful oasis. The sustainability language was dear to me and offered us many answers, but one of the elements which caused us to need to think in that way was the aridness of the area, which demanded the planning of the plant selection and irrigation systems to be water thrifty. And we did it by putting in a new modern water drip system that saves water use and sends it exactly where it is required for plant development. We also created a versatile outdoor living area with a new custom-built pergola and a tranquil water feature that acts as a visual anchor and a calming background sound. This includes high-grade materials like locally sourced stone and quality composite decking, which both add to long-term durability as well as match the architectural design of the home. The end result is a landscape that is not only in line with the client's vision, but has gone above and beyond to create a cozy environment to both relax in and enjoy with friends.
