Garden Color & Form By Experience Design Group Opt for lush Paint in the 'Garden Color & Form' by Chinick Landscaping & Nursery, in the heart of the Portland Metro area. The landscaping work was truly ambitious and merged a vibrant palette of plant material, extensive hardscapes and well-planned outdoor living spaces. The brief for our team of designers was to create a stunning garden retreat for the homeowners to be able to escape to whilst adding to the faade of the property. We chose a diverse selection of perennials, shrubs, and ornamental grass to provide color and texture throughout the seasons. Among those were a winding stone path in locally sourced basalt, which added durability and soaked the path further in the natural scenery. One of our biggest challenges was the unbalanced nature of the site how to even everything out so the garden can flow as one? Terraced planting beds were developed by our talented landscape architects to overcome this issue while also adding a layer of richness and complexity to the space. And the end product is a stunning oasis with a pond that draws local wildlife, a bonfire pit for socializing and a smattering of flowers that change with the seasons. The owners absolutely love their new backyard retreat, as well as the quality of the craftsmanship in addition to the design that represents how they pictured their dream space.
