About This Project

Location: Chinick Landscaping & Nursery Container Gardening Chinick Landscaping & Nursery takes pride in turning your outdoor space into a livable, functional garden. Introducing our newest line 'Container Gardening', which represents the same quality craftsmanship we pride ourselves in but with more creative potential for our clients here in the Portland Metro area. This consisted of hand-picking beautiful pots and containers that hit the clients mark; from long-lasting ceramic, low-maintenance fiberglass to earthy wooden planters. A mix of seasonal blossoms, fragrant herbs, and greens offered visual interest as well as practical attributes. The main challenge we had was the limited light in parts of the client's patio. The solution our experts found was to carefully research and pick plants that can grow in shady areas that still look good but can survive in the soil the way it was. Second, we installed a drip irrigation system which provides us with the convenience of sustainability and limited effort to maintain it. What we were left with was a collection of colourful, healthy container gardens that truly impressed our client and their visitors. In every container providing a focal point, the colors and textures combined to bring an outdoor living space to life almost like a mini getaway. This not only improved the aesthetics of the property, but also gave the homeowners a place to unwind and enjoy.
