Putting Green by American Design & Landscape Here at American Design & Landscape we are excited to showcase our most recent the Denver Metro area 'Putting Green' . This custom landscaping was designed to create an outdoor space for golfers to practice their putting game at home. Incorporated into the design is a 1,200-square-foot putting green that was constructed with grade-level synthetic grass that reflects the true feel and play of top-end greens. We used high-quality materials that would last a long-time and give a feel of a real game, even with minimal upkeepideal for a busy homeowner! The client has a naturally sloping yard, and this caused us some hurdles. With the touch and flare of our gifted landscape architects, the ground was brought into level while incorporating the smallest of mounds to make the act of putting more difficult yet thrilling. We have also now fitted a top-of-the-range drainage system to ensure that it does not become unplayable in any sort of weather meaning no water pooling and perfect surface conditions. In addition to the putting green, we also created a gorgeous natural perimeter with native Colorado plants, larger boulders added in for aesthetics, and classy paving stone (similar to what we used from the green area to the yard). These shades of lush green and colorful vegetation serve a dual purpose of not just aesthetics but preservation of local biodiversity. The final product is a beautiful outdoor oasis that turned the clients backyard into a golf lovers dream.
