About This Project

A Style with Flowers by American Design & Landscape Located in the center of Denver Metro, the Style with Flowers showcases the high end design and build work style that American Design & Landscape has become known for. This breathtaking metamorphosis is a perfect integration of blooms, greenery to present a balanced composition of floral and functional landscaping. So initially our team was challenged to build onto an area with a sloped and not a lot of sunlight which would kill off your normal garden plants. In order to tackle these challenges, we performed a detailed site analysis and chose a mix of hardy, sun-loving perennials and annuals such as echinacea, daylilies, and ornamental grasses that can thrive in a range of conditions. We planned carefully for a seasonal color cycle, so our garden is active and appealing much of the time. Incorporating high-quality materials was paramount. Similar to the airy feeling with the house, we used natural stone paths that can be found weaving throughout the garden grounding but inviting the experience of exploration. They created custom raised garden beds to give the flowers a boost, and of course, help with drainage to ensure the flowers grow well. We also installed an advanced-design irrigation system to keep constant moisture levels and preserve this colorful space for a long time to come. What emerged in the end was simply stunning. The client loved to have their outdoor space filled with fragrances and a floral adventure to behold, attracting local pollinators amidst the blooms and greenery. This seamless integration of color, texture, and structure made their property look more beautiful and their outdoor living much richer.
