Design Narrative American Design & Landscape: Centennial Retreat Located in the center of the Denver Metro, the Centennial Retreat is a perfect example of a beautiful landscaping for American Design & Landscape. This was the best backyard redesign ever, turning a normal backyard into an oasis with natural beauty and functional entertaining spaces. The focus of the retreat is a beautiful, multi-tiered flagstone patio with a cozy seating area for gatherings. To frame the patio, we used custom cedar planters filled with colorful native Colorado perennial plants, selected to show off different blooms at different times of the year, creating brother the patio with seasonal diversity. Slope was one of the main difficulties encountered throughout the . The varied levels were easily addressed by our talented team, who terraced the gardens to create greater depth in the landscape, and to maximise drainage and accessibility. We used natural stone from the site for the retaining walls to balance with nature and also the structural integrity. Also includes a calming water feature, Reefton falls spilling into a peaceful koi pond. Using sustainable materials and drought-resistant plants, we focused on reducing the environmental impact and aimed to minimize upkeep for the residents as well. Centennial Retreat ends with the subtle outdoor oasis that blends function with form. Our clients have a new space for entertaining, relaxing or family functions with the added benefit of viewing their newly completed landscape.
