The owners teamed up with our firm to come up with a design that would not only beautify their property but would also help sustain our environment. We introduced native plants in several configurations, featuring colorful succulents, decorative grasses, and vibrant ground covers that were selected specifically for their low maintenance qualities and low water usage. All of these elements were composed in a way to maximize depending color and texture throughout the seasons. The major problem we ran into during this was the existing grades and sub-par soils that needed to be considered and accounted for. Our team tackled the issue by having a grading plan designed that would ensure that we could manage drainage and the health of the new planting. An advanced irrigation system was also placed in to help reduce water waste, fulfilling our sustainable commitment. The results turned out to be quite beautiful. The homeowners were elated with their new outdoor living experience that brought together both functional areas paired with some gorgeous landscape design including an inviting seating area among the plants and inviting decorative pathways throughout.
