Located in one of the most scenic neighborhoods, this aspired to provide a beautiful outdoor living space that complimented the natural features of the site. At the heart of the was the cut stone cap, which we designed and had a stone masonry contractor create in such a way that it would fit perfectly on top of the existing stone walls on the property. Using high-quality local granite, our craftsmen created not only beauty, but also strength and durability. These rich textures and colours of the stone create a contrast to the verdant tropical hues in a welcoming tone that adds richness to the landscape. Grading the uneven ground was one of our main obstacles to get it to drain correctly and be solid for the stone cap. With this constraint, our team was able to innovate landscaping techniques to combat this, including installing a drainage system that would outflow any possible water buildup, ultimately leading to the preservation of the stone feature. Along with the cap of cut stone, an assemblage of native plants found in the area were added to provide seasonal color and interest. Careful selection of flowering perennials and evergreens serves to beautify and frame the landscape while also providing habitat for local wildlife, allowing for a synergy of man and the natural world. The end is a stunning outdoor space that is practical and gorgeous, which allows our clients to shed some of that stress in moments of peace with family and friends. The happiness shown by our clients, who now enjoy the ideal backdrop to gatherings and peaceful evenings, is a testament that we build our quality and excellence!
