The Harbaugh Nature is a True Work of Art by Green Acres Nursery & Garden Center Located right in the core of Warrington, the Harbaugh is a great example of landscape design from Green Acres Nursery & Garden Center. With s ranging from Ambler to Blue Bell to Horsham and beyond, our staff turned a small back yard into a relaxing outdoor space appealing to the senses! A careful site analysis formed the entry point of the , helping us quickly determine suns, soils and other key features. The skillful designers had the inspiration to combine lots of native plants, flowerbeds, and other uses with functionality to create outdoor living spaces. We designed an elegant tiered garden to combat the challenges of a sloping garden, using natural stone retaining walls for both stability and landscaping purposes. The second biggest consideration was the materials we used; local quarried stone for the walls to utilise local and sustainable materials; The planting plan included durable perennials and shrubs with seasonal interest in a specific palette Pathways of reclaimed granite allowed a cozy-outside seating area, where families can gather, or a tranquil evening can be enjoyed! A devoted team faced unexpected difficulties, such as calibrating to the fluctuations of the weather and providing appropriate drainage systems to protect the durability of the design. But, as a team, we tackled them one by one using some creative problem solving and ended up with a sustainable habitat. The Harbaugh exceeded our customers vision upon completion. What you end up with is a stunning riot of colour and texture, home to wildlife and a calming space in which to escape the noise of everyday life. At the last stage of the , the clients were very excited with the change and how the space transmits with the environment and at the same time provide a functional space to rest and enjoy.
