Curb Appeal: A Dramatic Landscaping Transformation by Liquidscapes At Liquidscapes, we take pride in the beautiful outdoor spaces we create for your home. Our recent is called "Curb Appeal" and is a testimony to our commitment to quality and craftsmanship in some of New Jersey's most beautiful communities, such as Alpine, New Vernon, and Princeton. The started with a broad consultation as we partnered with the homeowners to better understand their goals. The main goal was to improve the aesthetics of a front yard while keeping in mind the architecture of the house. It had a number of challenges, such as unlevel terrain and limited light. A capable team rose to the occasion. We created an inviting entry by working our way through a combination of beautiful flagstone pathways and designed flower beds full of color using perennials, bulbs, and seasonal plantings. These pathways will invite you through the front yard to the front door as well as provide a visual element in itself. Additionally, we used quality materials such as stone quarried close to the job site, and hearty or biodegradable and conductively growing mulching. We also added paths of light to illuminate key areas during the dark and create an inviting setting. Two sections of fine wooden fence were put up in the backyard to add some privacy while still allowing for the growth of luscious plants. Finally, we ended up with a beautiful, custom made water feature, further adding to the ideal landscape and the soothing sound of a water feature. The transformation was incredible. The front yard went from what was once a forgotten area to a beautiful element of pride for the homeowners and their community. They reported that not only did the new design add "curb appeal" to their home and landscape but that they also enjoyed it as an outdoor area more as well.
