Madison Lakeview by Four of Six Landscape Located in downtown Madison, the Madison Lakeview showcases the beautiful transformation of a large lakefront site, done by Four of Six Landscape. Please join us to congratulate L and D Construction Inc, the newest under construction member to benefit from our quality and innovation focused communities in Cottage Grove, De Forest, Deerfield, Madison, Maple Bluff, Marshall, Monona, Sun Prairie and Windsor. The design only includes native plants, ornamental grasses (not invasive), and perennials that flower and bloom, resulting in not only a beautiful landscape of plant life but also one that brings wildlife to the immediate area as well, and enhances the natural scenery surrounding the lake. The outdoor living space features a custom bluestone patio made from local stone with scenic views of the water, all centered between the two wings. Flowering shrubs and evergreens selected for interest in all four seasons create a backdrop for this area. A very extreme topography presented another challenge in terms of slow drainage and erosion. We executed a series of terraced gardens using natural stone retaining walls that match the surroundings, providing useful space for planting. Not only did this make it prettier, it also stabilised the hillside. The end product is a beautiful and tranquil outdoor retreat, a place for the client to entertain family and friends, as well as a spot to relax and take in the stunning sunsets over the lake. The final results of meticulous stone retaining walls, high-end materials and a unique design is both a functional space and the dreamscape the client envisioned, complementary to the character of the property.
