The 2510 WATER SOFTENERS have an 8% crosslink resin, this is a special grade resin that provides better physical strength and resistance to chlorine degradation than standard 6% resin. With it's very high design capacity, and the built in service flow distributor you get a balance of high capacity, maximum flow and compact design which is what makes this resin type last longer media life and higher softening capacity especially on problematic water.

Media tanks and baskets are made out of high density polymer composite materials.

The composite media tank is constructed of composite with sternous material strength and has an inner liner that protects against rust and corrosion. It has a 1 1/4" high flow (1 ) basket riser which eliminates backwash starvation.
