Slim and Space-Efficient Installation

The Pentek RO-2550 tucks neatly and compactly under your sink. It has a small footprint and a 3/8” tubing in order to fit easily under the sink of smaller kitchens, however, water quality is not compromised for convenience in size.

On-Demand Delivery 2.8-Gallon Storage Tank

This water is stored in a 2.8-gallon pressurized storage tank, so you’ll have fresh, clean water whenever you need it. When the dedicated faucet is on, water is fed from the tank through the final carbon polishing filter to provide high quality drinking water.

Four-Stage Filtration Process

Stage 1 – Carbon/Sediment Pre-Filter

The first stage has a sediment filter to remove dust, rust, and sediment as well as a carbon/sediment combination filter to remove the chlorine taste and odor. It not only increases the water quality, but also prevents fouling of the RO membrane, and prolongs the life of the investment.

Stage 2 - The Reverse Osmosis Membrane

It uses a 50 GPD Reverse Osmosis membrane that reduces the TDS total dissolved solids) ratio in water such as lead, fluoride, copper, barium, radium 226/228, and hexavalent and trivalent chromium. A maximum of 96% TDS is wiped out and disposed as trash.

Stage 3 – Storage and Transmission Management

Filtered water is then sent to the 2.8 gallon storage tank, where it is stored under pressure and ready to serve. The system also features an automatic shut-off valve that takes effect when the tank is full to help save water and extend membrane life.

Stage 4 - Carbon Polishing Filter

The stored water passes through a carbon polishing filter when it's poured into your glass to ensure the final taste and odor are justthe way you like them. This last stage makes sure that not only is your drinking water clean, but it's good and refreshing.
