Description

The Good Water Warehouse Ultramax 762 The Ultramax 762 by good water warehouse is a commercial grade water softening system designed for efficient removal of hard water scale and smart regeneration. It offers long-lasting strength and efficiency, combined with a 5-cycle process that ensures single tank flow rates for residential and light commercial applications. Featuring an advanced valve control and resin regeneration logic, this product provides reliable performance, low maintenance, and constant softened water supply.

Engineered for safe and efficient operation and backed by a comprehensive 10-year limited warranty this compact, single tank system is designed to provide years of reliable operation and is ideal for today’s demanding water conditions and continuous flow applications.

Safety Guidelines and System Setup

For the Ultramax 762 to be used safely and to its intended capacity you must adhere to the installation and handling precautions:

  • Never lay the media tank on its side. Do NOT lay it down or turn it upside down as media can enter the valve and cause damage.
  • Never bounce or strike the tank, internal media and fittings may be damaged.
  • Do not fill up with water with water valve open completely when setting up. Gradually add water to prevent squeezing media out.
  • Do not use rock salts, block salts or de-icing compounds. Use only water softener salt (rock, solar or salt) designed for water softeners.
  • Comply with local and state testing of water. Do not hook the system up to water of doubtful or microbiologically unsafe quality.
  • When installing bypass valves or manifolds, make a connection to the home’s plumbing system (from there, use the home’s existing water lines to feed the toilet).
  • Allow cemented parts to set and hot parts to cool before fitting plastic parts to avoid surface distortion or damage to O-rings.
  • Avoid primers or adhesives to come to contact with O-rings, nuts or valve surfaces.

These measures are necessary tube system life and safety of operation.

System Operating Specifications

The Ultramax 762 runs will within the rules:

  • Operating ambient temperature: 1°C to 49°C (34°F to 120°F)
  • Operating water temperature: 34 Degree to 100 Degree F (1 Degree to 38 Degree C)
  • Operating water pressure: 20-120 psi (1.38-8.27 bar)
  • Working pressure Canada: 20 to 100 psi (1.38 to 6.89 bar)

Such a wide operating range is suitable for many climates and plumbing codes and can be adapted for many system requirements.

Five-Cycle Regeneration Process

5 cycle regeneration system that does an excellent job of refreshing the resin and providing quality water.

Service (Downflow) — Cycle C0

Raw water comes in at the top and drains at the bottom of the resin tank so that hardness (calcium and magnesium) is exchanged for sodium as it percolates through the resin material. The softened water then flows out of the riser tube for system purposes.

Backwash (Upflow) — Cycle C1

Flow of water is reversed in an upward direction towards the resin. This refills and power flush build up material and particulates down the drain and revitalizes the performance of the media bed.

Salino/Scarico Lento (Downflow) — Cicli C2, C3

Water passes through a brine injector, which draws brine solution from the regenerant tank. This solution passes through the bed of resin, exchanging hardness ions for sodium. Then, there is a rinse operation to displace hardness and any brine that remains.

Repressurize — Cycle C4

This stage equalizes the pressure within the valve by letting the air and water stagnate for a period of time within the valve body and prepares for the last stage of regeneration.

Brine Refill — Cycle C8

Water is flowed into the regenerant tank at a regulated rate. This provides just the right amount of brine to be made and stored for the next softening cycle, at the end of regeneration.
