Concord Stone Walls In the sleepy town of Concord, Village Stonesmith Gardens & Masonry undertook an elegant landscaping that seamlessly combines natural beauty and livable outdoor spaces. The 'Concord Stone Walls' is a clear example of our commitment to quality work we sourced local granite and field stone well-suited to the New England landscape. The had certain challenges, including an uneven site and drainage needs. Our masons imagined and built a series of stunning dry-stacked stone walls across the property. The stone walls are impressive to see and serve as both functional retaining walls and aesthetic focal points throughout the property. We carefully considered the design and constructed the walls to allow water to flow through to avoid erosion while protecting the integrity of the garden beds nearby. We designed garden terraces of vibrant native and ornamental planting that grow up to and next to the walls. Each wall was designed to highlight and interact with the surrounding plants, and maintain the natural beauty that the property embodies while providing function and structure. Our team paid great attention to the that reflect the client's vision, including the stone selection and positioning of plant lifting. The overall end result is a remarkable landscape that gracefully combines rustic and modern aesthetic.
