Timiquana by Ross Garden Design Located in the heart of Jacksonville, the Timiquana has become an excellent example of nature meeting design, crafted by the professionals at Ross Garden Design. This residential has transformed an ordinary backyard into an incredible outdoor sanctuary that reflects the client’s wishes to design a quiet retreat for themselves. The design consisted of an inviting mix of native plants and carefully selected hardscapes with very good-quality materials, including natural stone paths and reclaimed wood from Dade County, Fl to create raised garden beds. The team worked through the complication of a sloped yard with a stylish tiered garden that works extremely well for proper drainage and incredible beauty. The also included a stunning water feature which flows into a koi pond. The cascading water creates a beautiful soothing backdrop for the space. As a benefit, the team also provided ambient lighting to give the user a chance to enjoy the garden pathways late into the night. The outcome is a vibrant landscape that expands the use of the space for family gatherings or simply for peace and quiet. The budget and timing constraints were met in an enjoyable way, leaving the client extremely happy with their new outdoor sanctuary.
