Premiere Landscape Design Front Yard Renovation Located in Chesapeake, this beautiful front yard renovation is a great example of the quality and creativity we offer at Premiere Landscape Design, serving the cities of Newport News, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Virginia Beach, and Hampton. Our team executed this transformative landscaping to improve the curb appeal of the home while maintaining functionality and sustainability. We enhanced the space by first conducting a consultation to identify the client's request for a welcoming, drought tolerant landscape. Next, we reviewed a variety of native high-quality plants and implemented colorful and vibrant azaleas with easy to care for ornamental grasses for a functional, green, and sustainable area. In addition to the plants in the layout, we designed a beautiful stone path made of bluestone, this locally sourced stone truly enhances the space while also providing solid, durable access from the driveway to the front door. Arguably a difficult part of this was the slopes, or grading, on the property creating an uneven surface area to work with. Our team utilized terracing and grading to establish effective drainage while reducing erosion to allow space for native, edible, and ornamental plants. We also established a custom irrigation system, promoting sustainability to support plant material throughout the Virginia seasons. The result is a beautiful front yard that adds charm to the property and reflects the client’s style. The array of colorful plants with varying textures creates interest in the yard while being useful as an alternative, practical way to provide a variety of colors and forms. The homeowner is very happy and their neighbors were equally impressed!
