The Pungo by Premiere Landscape Design The Pungo , set in the picturesque landscapes of Virginia Beach, truly showcases Premiere Landscape Design's ability to create beautiful outdoor spaces. This involved a complete redesign of a residential property to incorporate gardens, hardscaping, and sustainable elements that fit naturally in the landscape. The process began with a detailed consultation to gain a better understanding of the client's vision to develop a design that integrated both aesthetics and functionality. A standout piece of the was the sizeable native plant garden that provided beauty as well as habitat for local biodiversity. A diverse selection of Virginia native plants, including colorful wildflowers and hardy shrubs, was chosen to provide interest and durability throughout the year while using minimal water. The team was challenged by a site with an uneven grade but did a great job leveling the ground out and incorporating tiered garden beds that added depth and dimension to the yard. The materials were also selected to ensure durability in the coastal exposure of climate, including a natural stone path and elegant pavers for the patio areas of the property. A custom-built pergola provides a shaded corner for outdoor gatherings and integrated lighting to enhances the gardens at night. Along the way, the team problem-solved many logistical issues, from accessing the site to the weather, making sure every detail was up to our quality standards. In the end, the landscape design provided a stunning transformation that satisfied the client's needs while increasing their home's overall value. When the was complete, the client was thrilled with the result, especially the balance of beauty and function in their new outdoor space.
