Arcadia Dry Garden Sacred Space Garden Design Inc. is thrilled to present the Arcadia Dry Garden, a recently completed landscaping in the heart of the San Fernando Valley. The theme of this garden is sustainable design and it has been meticulously designed to thrive in our arid climate. Come experience the spectacular variety of drought-tolerant plants crafted in the original garden by an expert team. Experience the magnificent succulents, native grasses, and flowering perennials that will add year-round colors and textures. The sophisticated stone pathways we built out of local, quality materials gracefully cross the site creating functional and beautiful spaces. The attractively incorporated gravel mulch alongside the stone pathways not only adds visual appeal but protects plant roots from drying out and limits water evaporation, all while looking beautiful. One of the challenges of the was the topography of the site. To curb the high point of drainage and create a flowing landscape, grading and specific planting was essential for the new garden. Our team was able to drain the water runoff without losing the gardens visual integrity. The orb of the Arcadia Dry Garden is a beautiful peaceful paradise for engaging with ones senses. The garden takes you away from the busyness of life and incorporates a delightful seating element that invites you to relax and take a break. The client was elated with their new backyard escape and noted how the Arcadia Dry Garden has become their backyard sanctuary and allowed them to continue to embrace the outdoors.
