Scare: Modern Minimalist - Seattle, WA Sage and Stone LLC is excited to share the ‘Modern Minimalist’ landscaping in Seattle, WA. True to its , this embodied combining contemporary design and the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest, catering to our clients from Ballard, Beacon Hill, Bellevue, Clyde Hill, Medina, Mercer Island, and North Beacon Hill. The utilized a modern, open layout that emphasized clean lines and useable spaces. High quality materials were used such as locally sourced basalt stone for pathways, reclaimed hardwood for raised garden beds, and decorative gravel for drainage to achieve a cohesive look that complements the modern architecture of the home. Drought tolerant plants were selected for the , such as ornamental grasses and succulents, that aligned with the minimalist aesthetic while supporting sustainable practices in the Northwest region. While completing the , we managed a slope which incorporated terracing. Throughout the work there was a combination of both concerns stabilization of the landscape, while simultaneously providing areas that were inviting for outdoor socializing. Additionally, we acknowledge the need to be considered when it comes to drainage and erosion damages which both require detail and forethought. In the end, our clients received a calm retreat to realize their wishes for low maintenance and visually interesting. The Modern Minimalist is a perfect blend of hardscape and softscape elements, creating an unparalleled relationship with that part of the property. The has truly become a favorite feature for the clients and a prime example of the quality craftsmanship of Sage and Stone LLC to create innovative spaces.
