Narrative: Contemporary Eclectic - Seattle, WA Completed by Sage and Stone LLC Located in a vibrant area of Seattle, WA, the landscaping , 'Contemporary Eclectic,' by Sage and Stone LLC, has, in the end, transformed a mundane yard into an incredible outdoor oasis. This symbolizes both quality craftsmanship and a forward-thinking design, carefully catered to the unique style preferences of our very particular client. The site design features a beautiful balance of modern and eclectic style, with a welcome melting pot of native plantings and innovative hardscaping elements. A custom-built stone fire pit is the central feature of the yard. The surrounding seating areas, which are modern, sleek, and comfortably laid out, invite you to sit with family and friends and enjoy the space. Thoughtful paths and a drought-tolerant selection of plants helped add color and texture throughout the year, while ornamental grasses and perennial flowers and wonderful sculptural shrubs helped enhance the look. The site's terrain was another significant challenge. Alternatively, the yard was very rolling, therefore both grading and building retaining walls was a prerequisite. Luckily, we had the necessary skills set to complete this responsibly! The locally cut basalt and other sourced stones were used to create not only a durability feature, but a attractive wall aesthetic. We also designed a rain garden to help reduce stormwater runoff from the property. The outcome is an amazing outdoor space, seamlessly connected to the home's architecture, that is functional for relaxing and entertaining. The client was ecstatic with the level of detail carried out by our team, as well as the overall design reward to their home's landscape and their own lifestyle.
