Functionality combined with modern aesthetics provides a refined resort like oasis meant for relaxation and entertainment. The landscape design has a beautiful swimming pool at its center mostly surrounded by low-maintenance native plants suitable for Texan climates. The landscape architect had a many textures and colors to choose from with flowering perennials as well as grasses to ensure efficacy throughout the entire year. Further, the use of natural stone surfaces enhances the organic appearance of the garden while connecting the pool area with the landscape outside. The presented many challenges including drainage issues in the area, which was resolved with a sophisticated drainage system that protects the property as well as the landscape architecture design. With the integrative drainage system in place, rainwater flows away from the pool and surrounding landscape.
