About This Project

The only exception to the first is the common ; Green Acres Landscaping and Aquascapes water features. Green Acres Landscaping & Aquascapes, based in the breathtaking mountains of Alaska, has successfully finished the Water Features , in which we turn our clients' outdoor space from ordinary to paradise, in Anchorage, Elmendorf Afb, Fort Richardson, Chugiak, Eagle River, Girdwood & Indian news. This proved our love of unique architecture and craftsmanship and where natural stone can meet modern materials. To better incorporate the rushing creek directly into the backyard we added a multilayered waterfall that cascades into a peaceful koi pond, encircled by native plantings that lend to the character of the site. We carefully selected stones based on their texture and colour to make the water features fit into the landscape, becoming a movement and blend of colour in the eye. We had to overcome several hurdles throughout the course of this including acclimating to local climate and soil conditions, that made planning a suitable strategy and knowledgable expertise in aquatic ecosystems required. To tackle these challenges, our team implemented the use of specialized liners and filtration systems, guaranteeing optimal water quality and sustainability for the aquatic life. The finished product looked absolutely spectacular. The gurgling of water in the pond was refreshing and peaceful and the brightly colored koi were colorful and lively moving through the water. Our clients were thrilled with their new outdoor getaway for relaxing and entertaining. Not only did this improved their property value but it also gave them peace of mind the feel of nature can only provide.
