M's Residence: Before and After As Green Acres Landscaping & Aquascapes, we bring landscapes to life by creating beautiful landscapes for the customers and their properties. So one such that reflects this commitment in recent times is "Before and After M's Residence" that defines our quality in end-to-end design and execution. Set in the stunning landscape of Eagle River, this residential yard required a complete landscape renovation to improve its function and visual appeal. The old yard had dips and mounds, little foliage and seemed mostly thrown together. They, in addition to the client's dream for a wonderful outdoor area for entertaining and relaxing, presented the landscape architect with fantastic scope for an ambitious transformation. First we assessed the site, looking at things like sun, drainage and the plants that were already growing there. A mixture consisting of both native and ornamental plants, our design aimed to provide sustainability with year-long interest. We had taken a lot of time to choose great quality materials, using local stone for the paths and sustainable mulch to benefit the garden beds. The beautiful stone patio with a fire pit area is one of the many highlights of the designed for gathering and entertainment. We also built a tiered garden with colourful perennials and shrubs that introduces depth and serves as a peaceful background to the home. The centerpiece of the garden is a delightful water feature with a small pond and cascading waterfall, which draws in plenty of local wildlife while providing the soothing sounds of nature. With rocky soil and no access for a typical Bobcat excavator, our small crew used creativity with tools and techniques to keep the install going smoothly. The end result is a stunning restored environment for the client that was quite simply more than they ever dreamed of. The result is "Before and After M's Residence", a stunning home exterior makeover that's also served as a peaceful retreat the family can escape to. Today, the client has a beautiful once again indoor living space that adds to the visual appeal of their property, perfectly serving their lifestyle.
