About This Project

Forsestville Backyard Design Lee Hall Landscape completed the Forsestville Backyard that blends nature and function to provide hospitality as an outdoor living space for clients that live in American Canyon, Fairfield, Green Valley, Napa, Sonoma, Suisun City Vallejo, Yountville, Petaluma, and Santa Rosa. The design includes a custom patio made of locally sourced flagstone, flowing into a beautiful outdoor kitchen, outfitted with a gas grill, high-end stainless steel appliances, and a nice bar area for entertaining guests. We added beautiful native plants that thrive in the climate and require little maintenance to supplement the overall beauty. Guests are guided through a winding walkway, which includes solar lighting and leads to the delightful water feature with the sound of running water. The topographic challenges we faced were the uneven grade of the land and the heavy clay soil that limited drainage and plant selection. Our team was able to make expert cuts to various areas of the land, creating tiered grades to improve drainage and perform well for aesthetics and create depth to the overall design. We added permeable pavers to the space as well, to better manage runoff, plant selected landscaping and also provide protection to the overall eco-system, all for sustainable functions without sacrificing style. The end result is aesthetically wonderful and the design exceeded the client's expectations. The materials and attention to detail bring everything together and the Forsestville Backyard is now a peaceful setting for our client that fits the architecture of the home and provides endless opportunities for leisure and entertaining.
