Windsor Backyard Paradise by Hall Landscape Design Hall Landscape Design is pleased to present 'Windsor Backyard Paradise,' a remarkable transformation located in the heart of Windsor. Serving the active communities of American Canyon, Fairfield, Green Valley, Napa, Sonoma, Suisun City, Vallejo, Yountville, Petaluma, and Santa Rosa, Hall Landscape Design offers outdoor spaces that inspire, recharge, and heal. The premise of this was to create an exciting backyard retreat for family gatherings and quiet evenings all within the confines of an ugly, underutilized backyard. The clients wanted a balance of aesthetics and function, and this was achieved. The began with site challenges with all new grade changes, which did not make site layout easy because of transitioning from various level areas and poor drainage. Hall Landscape Design came up with some unique grading mechanics and allowed drainage to be channelled properly while leaving the way for a thriving landscape. We designed an incredible wide range of native plants that were sturdy, picked for their growth capacity in the local climate, and sustainability was always a concern. The backyard's hero piece was the stone patio, which was created using locally sourced bluestone. The stone patio lead into the outdoor kitchen with high-end stainless steel appliances which made socializing a breeze. Surrounding the patio includes a bountiful garden that was layered with fragrant herbs and perennials and was conducive to beauty and function. A water feature was added for a gently cascading sound that is inviting and can be soothing to the backdrop of the yard space. Outdoor LED lighting has been installed that illuminates the path and accentuates outdoor features so by night it softens the landscape beautifully during the late evening. The outcome is stunning and provides an outdoor living space that reflects the clients' personal style, while allowing a balance of relaxation and entertaining. The final outcome exceeded their programming needs and now is a gathering space for family and friends to enjoy. Hall Landscape Design also added its final stamp of quality, creativity, and detail in the process. We enjoy changing lives through the process of transforming spaces and are happy we were able to fulfill this process into reality, in Windsor.
