About This Project

Woodchester Residence by KDTurner Design The Woodchester Residence , located on the peaceful outskirts of Boxford, represents a beautiful example of combining natural beauty with functional landscape design, and was completed by KDTurner Design. This required the conversion of a large property into an outdoor oasis that works well with the architectural beauty of the home utilizing sustainable and native plants. The involved an elaborate arrangement of perennial gardens designed to bloom throughout the seasons. We used high-quality sourced materials, including pathways built with natural stone, to weave through lush plantings providing unique spaces to relax and entertain. An aesthetically pleasing water feature made from granite boulders as a part of the landscape design provided a calming ambiance, attracted local wildlife, and added to the peacefulness of the space. One of the 's challenges was the characteristics of the site. Multiple terraces were formed on the property to aid with drainage and erosion, with the use of native plants known to survive with little resource. Not only did this help slow down potential water runoff, but it also provided a complimentary palette of colors and textures throughout the seasons. The result of the is an incredible beautiful landscape that flows into the Woodchester Residence allowing the clients to step out of their home to a peaceful retreat. They could not have been happier with the outcome and praised how professional KDTurner Design was with both the craftsmanship and attention to detail on every aspect of the .
