About This Project

Sammamish Residence Urban Oasis Design & Construction LLC is pleased to showcase the 'Sammamish Residence', a landscape that pushes the boundaries of quality and design. Located in Sammamish, the is transformed into an outdoor oasis with a focus on increasing aesthetics and functional space. Our designers created a multi-layered garden of native plants that flourish in the Pacific Northwest which will last and require little maintenance. The design also incorporates a stunning stone patio with locally sourced bluestone for a more durable and visually attractive living area. The patio is complemented by a custom fire pit made with natural boulders that encourages gatherings and conversation around a nice evening fire and star gazing. An important challenge was the slope of the property. Our landscape designers offered a solution by using reclaimed wood to create a series of retaining walls, gradually elevating the garden space to create various layers that meld into the landscape while providing structural reinforcement. The design included a rustic experience, as the wood element complemented the architecture of the home. For year-round beauty, a palette of flowering shrubs and perennials was introduced to deliver color and texture for a full-season gardening experience. Solar powered garden lights enhance safety and add ambiance to the property after the sun goes down, allowing the family to enjoy their oasis long into the evening. Sammamish Residence has left our client breathless with excitement over how outdoor natural beauty and usability were combined.
