Outdoor Living, Patios & Decks | Kingstowne Lawn & Landscape We recently had the pleasure to work on a beautiful Outdoor Living in the fabulous community of Alexandria, that was focused on turning a normal backyard into just the right special get away space at Kingstowne Lawn & Landscape. The client wanted to have an area in which family + friends could use to hang out, as well as have a space that allows them to experience, thrive, and presence nature and we give them more than what they ask! The included a beautiful 600 square foot patio made of natural stone pavers chosen for their beauty and durability. Not only was this intricate pattern visually appealing, but it also provided a non-slip surface. We added a custom cedar deck with built-in seating and low voltage lighting so you could flow right from day into night. The slopiness of the yard was one of the biggest challenges, so we made sure to add some tiered landscaping. We used native boulders to build retaining walls that added aesthetic value while stabilizing the site. We also created abundant garden borders with native plants and perennials that like the local climate, thus supporting biodiversity and lowering maintenance costs. An outdoor kitchen complete with a grill, sink and plenty of convenient counter space helps take outdoor entertaining to the next level. They included a fire pit with lounge seating around it to make the space more engaging and useable across all four seasons. The end result was exactly if not better than what our client hoped for. With a completed for them, it is now a beautiful, functional outdoor living space that compliments their home and landscape. Our client has been thrilled with the feedback, saying that the space has become the heart of their home and that they love entertaining and making memories in the space.
