Kingstowne Lawn & Landscape was founded in 1997 by Phil Williams and Krisjan Berzins and our firm is based on: HONESTY – INTEGRITY – DEDICATION The pair became friends in 1993 while both were seniors playing for the varsity football team at Mount Vernon High School in Alexandria, Virginia. With Krisjan's background in grounds maintenance at the Mt. Vernon Country Club and Phil's highly disciplined business acumen they had the makings of the ideal partnership - one which commenced in 1997. In just 10 years they built Kingstowne Lawn & Landscape into one of Northern Virginia's most well-known landscape brands—with gross revenues exceeding $5 million annually. Krisjan bought Phil out of the corporation in early 2008, making him the sole owner of Kingstowne Lawn & Landscape. He was sad to see Phil go, but Krisjan knew Phil was ready to take on the next chapter in the Kingstowne story. Fast forward 18 years, Krisjan and his wife Mayra lead a strong, energetic company with over 50 extraordinary dedicated employees along with 30 trucks and a 13 acre facility, inside the beltway, in Alexandria, Virginia. The secret to the success of our company is that we believe every customer should have the feeling of being the “only” customer! Our staff consists of three full-time landscape designers.
