South Park Pingery In the South Park Pingery landscaping , Deep Rooted Designs, Inc. symbolizes the spirit of the San Diego area with breathing diversity through lush vegetation. Located in/between South Park and this truly represents our quality construction, creative vision and environmental stewardship. The South Park Pingery showcases a seamless connection of native species, xeric landscaping, and fine hardscaping. We carefully chose materials such as local stone for paths and raised beds so that it felt like part of the environment. In the design there is a central portion, a beautiful water feature that has been built that not only beautifies the surrounding but also attracts local wildlife providing a connection of nature through its habitat. The site itself presented one of the biggest challenges with an extreme slope so ensuring we were able to create functional spaces to relax as well as entertain the way we designed required creative grading solutions. We expertly navigated those barriers, and used green methods to retain water, and heal the soil. The result is a 3-dimensional garden that provides different ranges of microclimates, gives a good diversity of planting between the layers, and provides architectural interest. The end result is a stunning piece of garden artwork, complete with colorful flowers and ever-green foliage that speaks to the native Sonoran beauty of coastal California. Our clients are loving their new outdoor space that is set to serve as a perfect rendezvous point for family and friends.
