Plantings by BARKMAN LANDSCAPING INC Location: Davison, MI BARKMAN LANDSCAPING INC is excited to share the 'Plantings' , a breathtaking transformation of an outdoor space for our client in Davison. This was thoughtfully designed to merge aesthetics with usability, while upholding our commitment to quality work. The saw a planting of an array of plants including native perennials, colorful annuals, and ornamental grasses, intending to elevate the landscape's appearance, while creating a wonderful habitat made of Michigan native species. With longevity and sustainability in mind, we also ensured to incorporate high-quality, locally sourced materials that could withstand the Michigan climate. One of the major challenges we had to overcome was the site of the , which was sitting on an uneven surface. Our crew was able to readily grade the space to create a wonderful flow of the landscape while being conscious of concerns of drainage and health of the plants over time. This aspect of the also created a very aesthetically-pleasing space too, which is very exciting when there are practical concerns with a site. The end result is a lush and colorful garden bed that is sure to be a retreat in both the client and local wildlife's opinion. The plantings also allow for year-round interest in the landscape, from spring blooms to winter textures. The client was very happy with the end result, that she told us how happy she was the completed work and our professionalism!
