This was intended to transform the client's space into a captivating location filled with seasonal flowers throughout the year, consisting of aesthetically pleasing perennial plants, annuals, and ornamental grasses. BARKMAN LANDSCAPING INC began the with a thorough on-site analysis of the unique microclimates and soil conditions of the property. We utilized our knowledge and experience to select appropriate high-quality annual and perennial plants, including beautiful tulips and daffodils for spring, and classic summer favorites such as petunias and zinnias were chosen for summer color. The fall was graced with magnificent ornamental cabbages and chrysanthemums for fall color, and winter interest was achieved through the use of evergreen shrubs and unique, colorful birch bark to encourage year-round interest. A main challenge faced through the was dealing with the existing layout of the client's outdoor space and shading provided by larger trees, which limited the amount of sun certain areas received. We found unique ways to change the contouring of the property to allow for better sun exposure, this included re-grading and the addition of a new drip irrigation system, allowing for a dual purpose irrigation system that facilitated optimal watering while the plants flourished in shaded areas. The overall end result was a breathtaking landscape that fulfilled and exceeded the client’s expectations. Bursts of color greet you around every corner, creating a joyous landscape filled with inviting beauty. This improved the visual aesthetics for visitors, while greatly improving the curb appearance of the property. The client expressed interest in seeing their garden evolve through seasonal changes while noticing the beauty of each bloom that demonstrated detailed planning and installation.
