Piala's Nursery & Garden Shop Inc. is excited to share our newest called, Residential Outdoor Living, this has taken a very nice family home and made an impressive improvement to its beauty and function. We are very proud to have serviced and built lasting relationships within the greater area that includes Big Bend, Brookfield, Delafield, Dousman, Eagle, Genesee Depot, Menomonee Falls, Mukwonago, Muskego, New Berlin, North Lake, North Prairie, Pewaukee, Wales, Waukesha and Wind Lake area, by designing and creating outdoor spaces that appropriately resonate our clients' lifestyle. This has an interesting, functional layout that has baseline landscaping elements to create a wonderful cohesive living space outside. The primary part of the design is a custom-built stone patio which is made of a durable and highly available flagstone that will ensure future gathering areas and an impressive physical connection to the surrounding environment. Vibrant perennial gardens (with a variety of native plants to ensure year-round success) are located around the patio to integrate and balance the surroundings with appropriate seasonal plant material. One of the most immediate challenges imposed by the design was dealing with the slop of the property. This circumstance was addressed very practically by tiering all the gardens, which allowed the slope to become visually interesting while also improving the drainage and connection to the gathering space. Locally sourced boulders were used to form beautiful, staggered retaining walls to stabilize the soil and add rustic (and realistic) charm to these gardens. A quality functionality is the inclusion of a fire pit area to allow for a warm and cozy recreational area while also increasing a desirable experience during evening gatherings. Lastly, outdoor accent lighting was utilized to feature the tight growing, lush, vibrant gardens and to guide the pathways towards the house, thus transforming the physical environment into a magical space. The finished is a stunning outdoor oasis that our clients are very excited to enjoy and is spot on in person just as they envisioned for their residential backyard retreat. The combination of thoughtful design, quality materials, and implementation of workmanship has like no other approach transformed their yard from a collection of items into an impressive outdoor living space to enjoy with family and friends for years to come.
