Story: Cornwall Gardens - Church Hill Landscapes, Inc. Located centrally in Vermont, Cornwall Gardens exemplifies the work of Church Hill Landscapes, Inc. This large landscaping was completed in the lovely town of Cornwall, where it blended functionality with beauty. Serving Burlington, Charlotte, Colchester, Essex, and beyond, the idea was presented to us to create a lovely outdoor space from the existing residence and its large yard. While planning Cornwall Gardens, we faced unique challenges, such as uneven and varied soil conditions. Our professional landscapers took the time to evaluate the landscape and determine a plan of action to improve the grading and amend the soil to ensure plant life would be healthy and stable. The resulting design we utilized included native plantings, selected for their ability to survive in the Vermont soil, along with ornamental trees and shrubs, ensuring a colorful and lovely display all year long. Cornwall Gardens features a beautiful patio built from locally sourced bluestone, meant to serve as a durable and appealing outdoor living area. The patio was enhanced with a custom fire pit to facilitate gathering, while perennial beds lush with flowers surround the patio, ensuring bright and lively colors throughout the seasons. In addition, we installed a robust irrigation system that controls and maintains water flow through the gardens, conserving water while ensuring the gardens stay healthy. The decorative lighting was enhanced with natural boulders that help provide visual interest, along with guiding guests' through the many zones of the garden. The final reveal produced a stunning ensemble of dark and lush colors that promoted relaxation, enjoyment, and the Vermont aesthetic. Cornwall Gardens were such a delight for our client! They were simple and appreciative along the way to have their landscape transformed. Cornwall Gardens did not just add value to their property, but will also further enhance their quality of life - A wonderful portrayal of the workmanship and passion you can expect from Church Hill Landscapes, Inc.
