Charlotte Country Home Church Hill Landscapes, Inc. is pleased to present the 'Charlotte Country Home' , a beautiful creation of nature and architecture in the stunning landscape of Charlotte, Vermont. We created this outdoor oasis, demonstrating our commitment to quality and creativity while serving the surrounding area, Burlington, Colchester and South Burlington. The groundwork for this began by meeting with the client to gain an understanding of their vision and to incorporate the rustic charm while creating a usable outdoor living space. Our talented team surmounted a varied site topography and drainage concerns in the existing conditions of the property. Our team had developed a grading concept that addressed the drainage concerns, while also improving the overall appearance of the landscape. The included the introducing of a wide variety of native plants to provide a healthy ecosystem, while enhancing seasonal color. At the heart of this is a custom stone patio fabricating with locally sourced granite and the shape and texture of the natural stone assists in blending with the natural surroundings. The inviting space includes a custom built in fire pit for gathering and entertaining, as well as whimsical winding flagstone walkways to encourage guests to explore the gardens full of perennials and ornamental grasses. To further elevate the , we introduced ambient landscaping lighting to illuminate the pathways and the special features of the site to help create a magical ambiance in the evening hours. The final product is a perfect integration of nature and craft that exceeds the goals of the client while also creating a tranquil outdoor space to be enjoyed for many years to come.
